Since Richard Skerritt founded the company from his home office in 1990, Skerritts has been a family-led business. These family values continue today in the warm company culture that encourages everyone – clients and staff – to feel at home, thrive and become the best version of themselves.
Our culture is also reflected in the relationships we build with our clients; many have been with us since the very beginning. We are deeply proud of the fact that our clients know they can rely on us to provide a jargon-free, friendly, professional service where their aspirations, ambitions and dreams are prioritised.

An ambitious, growing firm
We work hard and have ambitious plans for the future, and we aspire to be the best in a competitive industry. In February 2021, Sovereign Capital Partners made a significant investment in Skerritts. The purpose of the investment was to support company growth and development through a strategy of organic and acquisitive growth across the whole of the UK.
We have completed various acquisitions and have more in the pipeline across the South East and nationwide. The future is exciting for Skerritts.
