Auto-enrolment is possibly the biggest single change to the pension landscape in modern times and Skerritts is monitoring developments closely.

The main thrust of the government’s aim to promote pension saving is by way of automatically enrolling jobholders into a pension scheme, either the government backed NEST scheme or an existing good quality scheme already in place with the employer.

From the employers staging date(s), there will be an obligation on the employer(s) to auto-enrol their eligible employees into a pension scheme.
